Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer - Adjust ($39.00 // Sephora). Adjust minimizes redness and also reduces the look of wrinkles and dark spots. There are other shades available, but Adjust proves to be one of the more popular.
NYX Cosmetics Studio Perfect Primer in Green ($12.99 // ULTA Beauty). Similar to the Smashbox but in drugstore/more affordable form. The green eliminates redness and the formula works to provide a matte finish.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer ($37.00 // Sephora). SO MANY to choose from. Quite literally a primer for everyone. I've been using this and noticed if you look into a magnifying mirror as you apply you can watch your pores disappear instantly. It's freaky yet wonderful all at the same time. This primer also evens out my skin tone which make my makeup look better overall.
PÜR Cosmetics Correcting Primer Hydrate & Balance ($12.99 // ULTA Beauty). Breakout prone? Rejoice! This primer is not only mattifying but contains s clarifying blend of salicylic acid, calming lavender extract and Ceretin Complex in a lavender hue to hide the look of blemishes.
Physicians Formula Super CC Color-Correction + Care All-Over Blur Primer Stick SPF 30 ($12.99 // ULTA Beauty). This just looks REALLY cool. It features a "high-tech formula which instantly blurs imperfections, fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, discoloration and signs of fatigue while evening out skin tone". It's basically more than a 2-in-1 in that it's every.damn.thing.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid ($28.00 // Sephora). Available in five shades you can pick your poison or buy them all to target color correct your face. Paint it all over and get your skin primed for concealer and foundation. A full review on this is coming up next week!
L'Oréal Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Primer ($12.99 // ULTA Beauty). There are three of these correctors to combat your skin needs including one for redness, and two others to combat dull skin (two shades, depending on skin tone).
Marc Jacobs Beauty Cover(t) Stick Color Corrector ($42.00 // Sephora). Three marbleized mixes combat dullness, redness and/or hyper-pigmentation/dark circles. (Can you tell these stick versions with the fun patterns get me every time?!)
MAC 'Prep + Prime CC' Colour Correcting Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($31.00 // Nordstrom). There are four of these shades set to Neutralize (soft yellow that neutralizes red skin); Illuminate (pastel lavender that brightens sallow skin); Adjust (muted peach that brings warmth to dull skin); and Recharge (deep peach that corrects blue and purple shadows).
