Known throughout the industry for universally wearable and pigmented cheek color, NARS brings us Outlaw for Fall 2012. Hearing the word Outlaw just makes me think of danger... and I love me a bad boy...

What the NARS website has to say about their blush:

The ultimate authority in blush, NARS offers the industry's most iconic shades for cheeks. Natural, healthy-looking color that immediately enlivens the complexion. A light application of even the highest-intensity hues delivers a natural-looking flush.

  • "Best Overall Powder Blush” 2010 & 2011 InStyle "Best Beauty Buys”
  • Silky texture in matte and shimmering shades
  • Micronized powder ensures soft, blendable application
  • Iconic NARS shades

Outlaw is described as a soft rose tone with golden shimmer. It's a bit deeper looking than rose in the pan, but on the cheeks it definitely gives off a just flushed look, and the shimmer isn't extremely noticeable. It gives off more of a light sheen.

The consistency of this one is a little dry, and not my favorite because I know how awesome NARS blushes normally are formula wise. It wears well and looks good after you blend lightly.... in the end that's all that matters!

Wear Outlaw on the heavier side with a light eye look from the Vent Glacé Duo Eyeshadow, or lightly as a flush with the High Society Trio Eyeshadow... both of these are also available with Fall 2012.
