If you follow me on social media, Instagram especially, you've probably noticed I like to post nail polishes and, lately, my nail art fails attempts. I have an artistic mind but what I have going on in my head never seems to translate well to paper, or nail.. as the case may be. The Nail Art Society has totally made me into a pro overnight. I'm not even kidding, these photos totally make me believe I have mad skills. Aside from the fact that everything comes packaged well and, I might add, beautifully, these sets contain everything you'll need to create fantastic nail art. I was invited to try out this service and was sent two kits to play around with:

The Great Glitzy.  This kit is celebrating the Roaring 20's with featured nail art from Lynette Cenee. There was a ton of bling included with this kit, but my absolute favorite part was the nail polish from Floss Gloss. A golden shade with holo glitter... my heart is still racing. Dramatic, I know... but it's gorgeous.

Accent With Attitude. This kit featured one of three shades from Mint (I got Czarina, a beautiful shade of emerald green) along with a ton of nail adornments. The nail art featured in this kit was provided by one of my faves - Emily Draher from

Nail Art Society January 2014

As I was photographing the contents I was immediately inspired and really excited to get the ball rolling. I didn't feel overwhelmed by what was sent and it all seemed like it would be so easy to use. In fact, it only took about 30 minutes to create the nail art below and that's only because I had to incorporate some "dry-time" in there. For my nail art mani I combined the products from the two sets. I painted a base of Mint Czarina on all of my nails except my ring finger which had a base of Floss Gloss Stun. So many pics! I apologize, but clearly I'm madly in love and proud of myself like I just aced my first day of kindergarten. And when have you ever seen a wasp look SO CUTE?!Do you need this? YES. It doesn't matter if you're a Pro or a Novice, you can always use the things they'll send you in the monthly kits. It's only $11.95 a month (plus shipping). And I totally salvaged that wasp when I had to remove this mani... I want to use him again!
