This weeks Makeup Wars is focusing on Fall Lips and Tips. I'm so excited for Fall, it's my favorite season in terms of every thing (weather, makeup, fashion...). On my lips of course I'm going for a darker shade. Not super vampy, but a far cry from the loud Summer shades I was loving just last month and the nudes I love always. Of course, the first lip products that come to mind for me are the new line of Audacious Lipsticks from NARS and also the new Bansar Satin Lip Pencil from the Fall 2014 Collection.

Bansar Satin Lip Pencil. This is the quintessential creamy, deep nude shade that is (or should be) on everyone's must-have lip list for Fall. I love the Satin Lip Pencil from NARS because it's opaque while still remaining glossy and moisturizing. You don't get that cakey gross business going on and they're really simple to reapply quickly. ($25, Sephora).

Audrey Audacious Lipstick. How amazing are these lipsticks? You already know how much I love Carmen and Vanessa, so while at Sephora the other day I had to grab a berry shade. Audrey called to me by shade and also by name. I had to own the Audrey! This shade is great for a deep, berry lip or to dab on and rub into your lips as a stain. In the face shot below I wore this as a stain and traced around my lips the the new NARS Velvet Lip Liner in Patong Beach. ($32, Sephora)

For my tips this Fall I'm loving the dusky, murky base shades with the gorgeous and muti-faceted shimmers. Two of my absolute favorites are from the China Glaze All Aboard Collection, which is new for Fall 2014.

Mind the Gap. This is a bit on the sheer side, below is three coats, but I love the olive base with the gold and multi-colored fine shimmer. ($7.50, Sally Beauty Supply).

Choo-Choo Choose You. Does the name of this one remind anyone else of the episode of The Simpsons where Lisa gave Ralph that Valentine that said "I Choo-Choo Choose You"? This nail polish reminds me of that (in name, obv), but it's way prettier. It's got the eggplant purple base but has the purple and golden olive duochrome shimmers. You can't look away. Two coats. ($7.50, Sally Beauty Supply).
