Releasing in September 2011, and as part of the Styledriven Collection, MAC is showing us a new tweek on eye shadow. The Pro Longwear Eye Shadow. Today, I'm excited to have 2 shades to show you, Hot Paprika and Legendary Black!

Both shades were swatched below without a primer. The pigment and longevity is amazing on this product!

Hot Paprika(mid-tone burnt red) is an interesting shade. I wasn't sure I'd like it. It's not such a true red that it can't easily be worn on the eyes. A shade like this is rather intimidating to me, but I found the sheen makes it very appealing. It has a slight iridescence to it that makes it unlike anything I've seen. This shade runs very warm.

Legendary Black (warm almost black) is a browned black with subtle golden shimmers... it reminds me of MAC Hocus Pocus in color, which is one of my favorite MAC Eye Shadows. Hocus Pocus is a little smoother and a bit more sparkly, but if you missed out on it during the Bloggers' Obsessions release this would be an excellent substitute! (FYI as of this blog post Hocus Pocus IS still available on the MAC website!)

MAC Prolongwear Eye Shadows retail for $20.00. They are part of the permanent line at all MAC locations as well as at MACcosmetics.com.
