So this sold out fast. I don't know if anyone got swatches up fast enough to show this beauty off before stock was depleted, but, as I'm sure a lot of you experienced, it wasn't easy to get anyway. I think the RiRi (Hearts) MAC Summer Collection launched at noon. I actually forgot about it until I saw someone mention it about an hour later. Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush was the only thing I was interested in since I was able to snag RiRi Woo earlier. I tried my luck and sat in the RiRi Waiting Room anxiously waiting the chance to check out.
Checking out was another adventure. Load times were rough and pages weren't loading correctly. It was anyone's guess how I paid or what card I paid with. I had a few other items in my cart from before, one of which I tried to remove (unsuccessfully) before check out. Anyway, the blush shipped the same day and arrived very quickly.
What the MAC website says about Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush:
Rihanna's online-exclusive Powder Blush Duo in Hibiscus Kiss combines two shades of M·A·C's celebrated colour for cheeks and face. Cool coral complements a neutral matte bronze in one gorgeous package. Limited edition.
Hibiscus Kiss is a duo of matte bronze and a shimmery pink blush. They can be worn separately or blended together for a subtle, peachy glow.
This blush duo applied easily onto the face and blended well, wearing for most of the day (and I was a hot mess at my son's t-ball game - read: sweaty and gross). I do wish the area with the blush were a little easier to get my brush into, but that's really the only con I have. It's a quick and easy cheek color/contour set when you just need a grab and go product or even for a more refined look.
If you want to check out how this blush wears I have it on in this Instagram photo.
