Seeing as how Blogger has been acting up I didn't plan on posting anything today, maybe not even all weekend... BUT the Fed Ex guy dropped off something fun.... and then a Le Metier de Beaute fan made a request on their Facebook page.. and the hubby fell asleep on the couch SUPER early... so why not ;)

Today I bring you Le Metier de Beaute Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss in IBIZA.

From the Neiman Marcus Website:

Exclusively ours. Drench lips in total luxury—sumptuous, punchy colour saturates lips in a unique, ultra-lightweight, formula enriched with emollients and antioxidants for beautiful, supple lips.

Elegant, semi-translucent glossy color.
Universal shades.
Vitamin E and lanolin for soft supple lips
Silky texture and easy glide formula.
Never heavy or sticky.

How to use: Wear it alone for sheer brilliant shine or or layered over your favorite lip color to magnify color and shine.

In swatches, Ibiza actually looked more peach to me, but when it arrived I was shocked to see how pink it looked in the tube. I did not think I was going to like the color, but it actually is exactly what I was looking for, and I didn't even know it.

Ibiza is pretty sheer when worn alone. It's very light and is not sticky at all. I actually wiped this off of my arm with a dry tissue and bits of the tissue did not get stuck on my arm. First time for that.

You can smush your lips together all you want... nothing is going to stick or look gummy... you're not going to get that weird smush line. It's such a brilliant high gloss with a subtle shimmer that it really does make your lips look just a bit plumper.

In the lip picture Ibiza is ALL I have on my lips. There is no other color or lip balm. No liner. Nothing. For the arm swatch picture I swatched is a little heavier and then let it sheer out. It's going to sheer out on your lips and play off of the natural pigment of your lips. Depending on that pigment, Ibiza could be darker or lighter on you.

It is my opinion that Ibiza is versatile enough to be worn over a pink or peach colored lipstick.

Le Metier de Beaute Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss retail for $32 and are available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Bergdorf Goodman.
