Earlier this month I did a picture tutorial post on the new Maybelline Falsies Push-Up Drama Mascara. Since then I've seen/heard quite a bit of hate on the mascara, including one comment on the original blog post. I personally really do like this mascara. Is it my all-time favorite on Earth? No. Is it my favorite at the drugstore? No, but it is in the top 5, likely the top 3.

In the video below I talk about this mascara and also show you how I apply it. The video is unedited (but only 7 minutes long) - because I don't know how to edit videos and don't have the time to learn, but also because you can see in real time how I'm applying it and what it's doing for my lashes. You'll see my lashes with nothing on them and then with one, two and three coats of the Maybelline Falsies Push-Up Drama Mascara. You can see the comparison of one eye wearing nothing and then one eye with three coats of this mascara.

Not all mascaras are going to work the same for everyone. What works for me may or may not work for you simply because we don't have the same lashes. Plenty of mascaras that work for other people do not work for me. For example, I work for Pur Cosmetics and won't recommend the mascara to anyone because it's way too wet. It literally got all over my hands, face... every where. It was completely bizarre. And that's just ONE example. However, plenty of people sing it's praises. With any makeup you have to give it a chance. Try it more than once, apply it with a different technique. If it still doesn't work 99% of businesses (at least in the US) will take it back if you have your receipt. You're well within your right to return a product that doesn't work for you... and you should, because then you can pick up something that will work out.

I hope this video helped you out! If you can think of anything else you'd like to see applied lmk in the comments!

*Disclosure - While the original post of Maybelline Falsies Push-Up Drama was sponsored this post is not. The brand didn't ask me to do this and they have no idea that I did. Because of comments I've seen on that post as well as ones on the Maybelline Facebook Page I decided it would be fun to make a video and show how the mascara looks after each coat.
