When I reviewed the Dior Vibrant Color Powder Blush in Cocktail Peach I vowed at the end that I would be buying Mimi Bronze as well. Maybe 5 minutes after that post went live I ordered it. Obviously, self-control, I have no room for you.
What Nordstrom says about Dior Vibrant Color Powder Blush:
Dior’s legendary blush returns with a new texture formulated to blend with your skin, leaving you with a weightless veil of color.
- For a fusion look: Use the flat side of a brush to blend color with the skin for a healthy glow.
- For a sculpted look: Use the beveled end of the brush for professional contouring application at the temples, around the oval of the face and to sculpt the chin.
The packaging is what we’ve come to expect from Dior, with the navy blue plastic casing and silver print, the interior housing a mirror and brush. The brush is okay for travel, but I tend to dislike the included brushes in blushes and shadows. At least this one has a nice slant, making it easy to apply on the go.
Mimi Bronze is a warm rosy bronze with a hint of peach. I loved how seamlessly this blush applied and blended. It wears as a sheer and demure shade, even though it looks so pigmented in the compact. You can layer to get more color, but it never seems to go overboard. The finish was luminous, but not shimmery. It’s really a fantastic cheek product from Dior – smooth and luxurious.
