I go back and forth with my love for Deborah Lippmann Nail Polishes. I either REALLY love them or I REALLY hate them. Lately it's been more of a love thing. I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting to know the brand more, and I know what I'll like in terms of what I feel they can and cannot do well... or if it's because everything they've been putting out lately is just amazing.

For Spring 2012 one of the polishes released by Deborah Lippmann is called Mermaid's Dream. Rarely do I purchase a polish online before I see swatches, but the bottle photo on this looked to die for, so I pre-ordered on Neiman Marcus and waited.

When I opened the package, I nearly hit the floor... make sure you're sitting down. I give you - Mermaid's Dream.

Mermaid's Dream is a foily looking shimmering sea green. The base is a frosty golden green. There are larger blue glitter and smaller sea foam and gold glitter, reminding me of the Caribbean. It's calming and party-licious all at the same time! I used three coats for basically full opacity.
