I'm slowly but surely chucking away at the China Glaze Anchors Away Collection. Of course, I'm late in swatching these, but I won them a little later than their release from Kayla Shevonne's 500 Follower Giveaway. I've already swatched Pelican Gray, Sea Spray, and First Mate. You can right click/open new window HERE to check them out.

The next round of the China Glaze Anchors Away Collection is going to feature Life Preserver, Knotty, and Hey Sailor.

Life Preserver

Life Preserver is a BEAUTIFUL dusky coral color (a little less "hot" looking in real life as opposed to in the picture), and my favorite of the 3 polishes featured today. The swatch above is only ONE COAT! I did use a base coat, but no top coat. It's just that shiny. I'm always floored by these one coat wonders. How do they do it? And why don't they do it with ALL polishes?

Knotty may not look like much in the bottle or on the swatch, but it's got a gorgeous multicolor shimmer in there. The swatch above is 3 coats, with a base and top coat. I wasn't even wanting to swatch it, because it just didn't look like love in the bottle. Once you get this on your hands, you will die (from happiness)!

Hey Sailor

Hey Sailor is another one coat wonder!! It's shown above with a base coat and no top coat. I'm partial to any polish that will go on in one coat. It saves time, and in my experience doesn't chip as easily. And who does Hey Sailor remind you of? She is VERY close to Le Metier de Beaute Kontagious Koral, which is awesome for those that do not want to splurge on a luxury brand, or can't seem to find that particular polish in their area. Or someone like me, who needs both lol

China Glaze Anchors Away is still available at Ulta, I've seen quite a bit of stock at mine. Depending on where you buy your China Glaze, retail can go anywhere from $4.99 - $6.99 (these are the price points that I've seen them hit).
