If you're not yet obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows by the end of this post you will be. The Luxury Palette is a quartet of Colour-Coded Eye Shadows to transform your day look into the ultimate smoky eye for night. The latest to be released is Fallen Angel($65.00 // Nordstrom), which is limited edition to Holiday 2014.
In terms of packaging it's all the same as the regular quads but with gold starry accents on the inner casing. I love the combo of the chocolate brown and gold - it looks chic, shuts securely and feels sturdy.
There are four shades in Fallen Angel - a pearly ivory, a light taupe, a bronze and a black. Ideally to be used to prime, enhance, pop and smoke. You can obviously use them any way you wish, which is what I did. The formula is super pigmented (look at that black!) and so very soft. These shadows last all day over primer and are effortless to blend. The raised star accents make it even prettier to look at, but unfortunately don't last past the first couple of uses.
For the EOTD I started with a thin layer of Urban Decay Primer Potion. The bronze shade is all over the lid except at the inner corners and smudged under the outer third of the lower lash line. The taupe shade is in the crease and blended. The black shade is at the outer V and blended inward on the lid and the crease. The ivory shade is at the inner corners and then from the crease color to the brow. The eyeliner is Urban Decay Black Velvet 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil and the mascara is Tarte Lights Camera Lashes 4-in-1.
