Unless you keep up with what is going on for Vogue Fashion's Night Out the latest Le Vernis from Chanel just may have slipped right past your radar. Chanel Sweet Star is the 2014 limited edition nail polish and was released exclusively as part of VFNO in September. It was set to release in boutiques in November but is already available on the Chanel website, where I bought mine.
This polish has so many different facets to it. For the most part you're going to notice the metallic gunmetal grey. In other lights it'll sparkle off hits of green and purple. The iridescence is completely gorgeous. Sweet Star is one of those nail polishes that you're going to want to hold out in front of you all day and move your hands around in front of your face.

I used three coats of this nail polish for the photos, but it was completely opaque in two. You could also paint a cream polish on your nails first and then just one coat of Sweet Star. The formula was smooth and for the most part the streaks evened out once the polish dried and a top coat was added.
Chanel Sweet Star Le Vernis retails for $27.00 and is available at Chanel.
