Your Summer face must be glowing. Your Summer face must not look heavy or caked on (okay that shouldn't happen at all, no matter what the season). And, if the stars align correctly, your Summer face must be flawless. Also, a little SPF wouldn't hurt, either. Chanel has a little line called Les Beiges that has you completely covered on all of the aforementioned areas.
All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen ($45.00). The shade I've swatched and reviewed is No 20 (though 5 shades total are available for purchase). I swatched in store and really liked the things it did for my hands (we all know how important it is for hands to glow). So much so that I had to order it the next day. It covers at all the right places with all the right opacities and feels amazing. Now, I love this product, and I love me some Chanel... but... L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation did the exact same thing for me and costs $30.00 less. I can't say that it'll work for you, I can only tell you what works for me.. but there was no difference what-so-ever between the two of these other than the slight rose scent that all things Chanel has.
Healthy Glow Multi-Colour ($65.00). The shade I've swatched and reviewed is No 02. This is the darker of the two available, but I love using it to bronze and sculpt cheekbones into my face. It's thinning, y'all and that makes it okay in my book. My general shade range is MAC NW20-25 neutral, but I thought this worked great as a bronzer. In all reality I probably should've went ahead and bought No 01 instead, but this one just did major awesome type things to my face so I had to have it. And, it stays put all day. It's expensive, but I can totally support that if it's going to hang out.
In the photo below all I have on my cheeks is the Healthy Glow Multi-Colour and I'm using All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen with IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation dusted on top. The eye look is from the Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette (tutorial here) and the lips are MAC Mangrove Lipstick.
Have you tried Les Beiges?
