The ChanelHoliday 2013 CollectionNuit Infinie de Chanel may not have had a quad, but it features an amazing (and limited edition) 5 Colours Eyeshadow Palette, where every shade is a winner. For your drooling pleasure - Charming!
What Nordstrom says about the Chanel Charming 5 Colours Eyeshadow Palette:
A limited-edition eyeshadow palette unveils a seductive shade spectrum for the season's most striking eye looks. From soft beige to rich purple, matte and pearlized shadows create glamorous effects and offer endless opportunities for custom blending. The emblematic quilted motif of CHANEL embosses the silky shadows for an added touch of elegance.
Charming 5 Colours Eyeshadow Palette features shades in pearled beige, satiny caramel, shimmering bronze, chocolate brown and deep eggplant.
This is a luxe and smokey take on what could have been a very neutral palette. The shadows are soft and very pigmented, blending with ease and wearing well throughout the day over-top of a primer. You probably have your fair share of brown eye shadows, but if you're looking for a Chanel palette that you'll use often between day and night looks, this one is it.
For this EOTD I prepped the eye using Urban Decay Primer Potion. I placed the bronze shade all over the lid, the chocolate brown shade in the crease and the eggplant shade in the outer V. The satiny beige shade is at the inner corners and to highlight. I also mixed that shade with the caramel shade to blend out the crease and refine it a bit. The liner is Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Hustle and I put a bit of MAC Powersurge Eye Kohl underneath the outer part of the lower waterline. The mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex & Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant layered.
