Hey, all! So sorry the Chanel Summer post is a long time coming. I ordered it before I left for Disney and am just now able to dive into it since I've returned.

I wasn't TOO floored by this collection (where the stuffing have new quads been hiding?! Seriously!), but there were a few products that caught my eye.

The first product I'd like to WOW you with is the Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in 337 Calypso.

What the Nordstrom website has to say about Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimers:

Intense frost and shine for lips. Cool array of hottest colors in a convenient, easy-to-use case. Gel texture imparts a shimmery, ultra-glossy look. New shades add extra sparkle and shine.

Glossimers are very light in terms of stickiness, heavy on shine, and generally not too pigmented. Calypso has a decent amount of tangerine pigment with a slight hint of gold and fuchsia shimmers (the non-gritty kind!).

If just Calypso by herself doesn't seem deep enough for you, pair it up with En Vogue Rouge Coco Shine (also released with Summer 2012). Though also light, En Vogue will help to make Calypso a bit deeper and wear more flawlessly.

Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimers retail for $29.50 each and are available at fine department stores, their websites, and at On the Chanel site, Calypso is marked as Limited Edition to the Summer 2012 Collection.
