Your lips are a pair so why not find the perfect pair of products to apply to them? Recently I’m loving the PÜR Cosmetics On Point Lip Liner ($18.00 // Kohl’s) paired up with the PÜR Cosmetics Chrome Glaze High-Shine Lip Gloss ($18.00 // ULTA Beauty). They go together like PB&J, bacon and eggs, butter and popcorn…. brb I need to eat.
On Point Lip Liner
I have three shades of this product to show you in:
- See Thru (clear)
- Low Key (mauve)
- Vamp (brick red)
The PÜR Cosmetics On Point Lip Liner is touted as being a long-wearing lip liner that glides on easily and locks color into place. Each shade also contains a “plumping peptide” so that lips appear fuller and smoother.
I am IN LOVE with how these feel, look and wear. They apply smoothly and creamy but dry down rather quickly. There’s a slight stick to the finished product but it’s not uncomfortable and even if that bothers you you’ll be okay because it’s not that bad and it helps the product last. As if it could get any better these pencils also have a sharpener in the cap so that every time you close them up they’re re-sharpened and ready to go for the next wear. Perfection.
As for the “plumping peptide” I can’t say I noticed my lips looking fuller, but even when the liner dried down it didn’t seem to harshly settle into lines like others can, which is pretty dang wonderful.
I have four shades of this product to show you in:
- Smarty Pants (coral)
- Squad (neutral red)
- Arm Candy (strawberry)
- Rebel (dark plum)
The PÜR Cosmetics Chrome Glaze High-Shine Lip Gloss formula is touted as being a lightweight, highly pigmented color that uses gel technology to coat lips in vivid color and intense shine. The color is supposed to provide shine without traveling or fading.
This gloss applies evenly with the perfect amount of color. The applicator is that angled, tapered sponge-tip that makes it easy to coat every single part of your lip with product. These glosses do feel slightly sticky but if MAC Lipglass doesn’t bother you then this won’t either. I personally don’t think it’s that bad but I’ve seen some reviewers complain about it.
Wear time for the gloss is a few hours unless I eat or drink then obviously it’s gone. The color stays around decently when drinking and even better when you pair it up with the On Point Lip Liner.
My favorite combo using these two products is Smarty Pants Lip Gloss over-top of Low Key Lip Liner. This duo is my perfect lip shade! What combo would you want to try?
