For Spring 2017 the conventional bronzer is getting a makeover. The NARS Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer ($40.00 // Sephora) features shades likened to being “second skin” and designed for the natural bronzing of all skin tones. If the popularity of NARS bronzers in general says anything, these latest releases are likely to be a hit. Keep reading for my review!
NARS Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer is available in 4 shades:
- Seaside // Fair to Light Skintones
- Laguna // Light to Medium Skintones
- Casino // Medium Skintones
- Falaises // Deep Skintones
What is it?
The Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer is different than the traditional one from NARS in that all of them have a matte finish that “captures the natural light and diffusing imperfections for a soft-focus effect. Smooth, silky and weightless; sheer powder that’s soft-to-the-touch and stays plush and blendable”.
As with most NARS cheek products these bronzers wore all day on me without fading. They’re not as pigmented as the regular NARS Bronzers but you do get just enough to really make it look natural. If you’re into a more amped up bronze they’re also buildable, which is personally good for me when Summer rolls around.
I tend to have really good experiences with NARS powder cheek products in general and the Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer formula is no exception. You might find the powder a bit more firm than the usual bronzers but you’ll still get a nice, even application that’s easy to blend out.
What do you think about this latest innovation from NARS? Tell me in the comments why you’ll try it or why you’ll pass it!
