Around mid-May BECCA Cosmetics and Jaclyn Hill celebrated the incredible success of their Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector with the launch of even more products to add to the Champagne Pop family – a Liquid, a Poured Creme, an Eyeshadow Palette and the Champagne Collection Face Palette.
The Eyeshadow and Face palettes are limited edition while the three versions of Shimmering Skin Perfectors (pressed, poured and liquid) are permanent. Before we get into looking at the collection in it’s entirety I will say that the day of the surprise pre-launch 10,000 units of the Face Palette sold out in 30 minutes, and it was only announced by Jaclyn Hill on Snapchat (with word spreading fast). The day the collection launched on Sephora.com I was volunteering at my sons school and, while I was able to order all of the collection, I had actually missed a few things. As luck would have it Sephora pulled more to put on the site that day and I was in the right place at the right time.
Champagne Collection Face Palette ($52.00 // Sephora). I reviewed and swatched this palette a few weeks ago (check here). But the pics are below for your convenience.
I have been having a blast mixing the shades together and layering. Everything is so blendable and pigmented. Amaretto has been a top pick of mine for dusting over-top of my regular bronzer which is giving it a nice glow for Summer-time.
Champagne Collection Eyeshadow Palette ($40.00 // Sephora). The eyeshadow palette carries five shades in Chardonnay (white gold pearl), Champagne Toast (golden toasty almond pearl), Cordial (light dusty mauve matte), Cognac (mid-tone brown matte) and Bordeaux (raisin colored matte).
Champagne Toast is a Champagne Pop inspired shade for the eyes and it looks amazing alone or layered on top of the matte shades, as does Chardonnay. The top performers are Champagne Toast and Chardonnay but I was also very impressed with the three matte shades and found the palette as a whole to be very wearable for both day and night. Each shade was nicely pigmented and all applied and blended well on the lid. I wouldn’t call any of the five shades unique but if you’re a fan of BECCA shadows and Jaclyn Hill this will definitely be a palette you’ll want to pick up.
The swatches below are done dry on bare skin (no primer):
Now for the permanent items. Champagne Pop (no matter what the formula) is described as a soft white gold w/ pinky peach undertones.
Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed ($38.00 // Sephora). I originally reviewed this in September 2015 (check here) and it’s been a staple ever since. I use it primarily to highlight but it’s also the perfect color to add a glowing pop to the inner corners of the eyes. This is the same shade as what’s in the Face Palette but my Champagne Pop single is softer than the formula of the one in the palette.
Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Creme ($38.00 // Sephora). The Poured Creme formula is my jam to use as a base for eye looks. I use the Rose Gold Poured Creme frequently in the Fall and Champagne Pop will be fabulous for Summer eye looks. My lids are oily so I use a secondary primer (usually Benefit Air Patrol) underneath the Poured Creme.
Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid ($41.00 // Sephora). This is the first liquid Shimmering Skin Perfector that I’ve ever owned and no one is more shocked by that than I am. I remember my first time in ULTA Beauty while I was working with PUR Cosmetics… I saw the Rose Gold liquid and was rubbing it into my arm…. basically like a weirdo I couldn’t stop staring. The liquid is gorgeous to use as a base for the powder highlighter or to make your foundation glowy.
The swatches below are done dry on bare skin (no primers):
In the look below I’m wearing a bit of the liquid at the tops of my cheek bones with Champagne Pop dusted on top and I used Amaretto alone as a bronzer to show it off. Rose Spritz is the blush.
On my eyes I used Benefit Air Patrol and then placed a thin layer of Champagne Pop Poured Creme on top. From the Champagne Collection Eyeshadow Palette Cordial was used as a transition shade with Bordeaux is applied all over the eye lid area except the inner corners. Champagne Toast was patted at the center of the lid to make it pop a bit more and Chardonnay is at the inner corners of the eye. I used a bit of Champagne toast to blend out the crease and then some Chardonnay to highlight at the brow. The eye liners are MAC Black Walnut Modern Twist Kajal Liner and I used Anastasia Liquid Gold Metallic Luster Liner to line the lower waterline. The mascara is IT Cosmetics Superhero.
This collection will launch in stores on June 16, 2016 with items restocking online as well (though I’m not sure if those will be on the 16th, if you know plmk in the comments!). Jaclyn Hill has stated that once the limited edition items sell out this will be it. If you’re needing you the LE items, set your alarms. The last time they launched it the time was noon EST, but check with Sephora just in case.

Do you see a difference between champagnepop original and champagnepop in the palette? 🙂 Could you by any chance make a swatch comparison?
I’ve seen a lot of different opinions. It looks very beautiful though <3

Hi Sascha! There is a definite difference. I actually had swatches and a talk-through on my Snapchat when I first ordered the Face palette (comparing the CP single, Face Palette and also the Glow palette from holiday). So many people have asked for the swatch comparison I wish I’d have saved the snap! The original is much more buttery and soft while the one in the palette is on the dry side. Someone on twitter mentioned that the first ingredient was different in each. The CP in the palette is still beautiful and IMO performs well, but it’s slightly different in feel than the single.

I am SO jealous Brooke! I need the face palette and maybe the eye shadow palette but the face palette FOR SURE & it’s sold out. The only Sephora is an hour (one way) away. I blame your pretty glowing face–for everything LOL.

What a beautiful look. These are so pretty. I was hoping to see the eyeshadow palette before it became live to know if i wanted it and I think now I do. As far as the poured highlighter, that’s got to be mine. I didn’t know about it before.
