Do you have problems getting lip colors to go on evenly in terms of pigment and also your lip line? Particularly dark or vampy colors? Then you need every single shade of Pür Minerals Lip Lure($22.00 // ULTA Beauty).
Why am I crazy? Because right before sitting down to write this review I put on Mystic Lip Lure and it for real took me 5 seconds, if that. Mystic is the deepest merlot shade you can get at and it went on like perfection without any kind of liner or really focus because I did it at 8am.
The formula is thick but it doesn’t feel that way on the lips. Lip Lure is a lip lacquer that is extremely pigmented but extremely comfortable and even hydrating. I’ve found that these last much longer than just a regular lipstick would (even through light eating/drinking) and the deeper shades leave a small stain so it’s easier to replenish if you’re out and about and just want to pop on a clear lip balm.
The applicator is a slanted sponge where little strands of product come out. You’ll have to twist like no other to get the first shot of color but after that one full twist gives you all of the product is all my lips needed to be completely coated. If you have larger lips you may need a bit more product, but this spreads well so I doubt it. For thinner lips you’ll definitely need less product and I’d recommend using the tip of the slant to apply.
Five shades of Lip Lure are available and three are swatched below in Graceful(almond), Fiery(brick red) and Mystic(deep merlot).
