Secretly I’ve been on a major quest. I say quest because it’s been a serious deal over here. Every.Single.Store that I go into I look for these. I’ve been traveling to all the different beauty store locations around here for work and I always look! Clearly people are obsessed because they’re always sold out. Oh, what are they?! The Physicians Formula City Glow Daily Defense Bronzers. You know, the ones that say New York and Paris aka my fave place on Earth and also the place I want to go to more than anything?! It’s like PF got in my head and was like “we need to make these bronzers so Brooke can be crazy happy”.
In addition to those little slices of happy they also have the new Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer and Argan Oil Blush (which makes me SO HAPPY because my cheeks get so dry! How is it humanly possible for my face to be so oily and so dry on my cheeks?!).
Since we’re there let’s first talk about the Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer($14.95 SRP // Walmart) and the Physicians Formula Argan Oil Blush($12.95 SRP // Walmart), since we’re there. So full of pretty, so smooth… you guys this is Summer incredible right here. The shimmer is just an over-spray but as you swirl your brush around it gets itself all over the product, which may or may not suit you. At first I was a bit worried because I’m in my dirty thirties and too much shimmer is only okay for my kindergarteners tea parties but this is not bad at all. I wore this blush along with the New York City Glow Bronzer and I could hardly see the shimmer on my face (look is below). It was my “ball field FOTD” I guess you could say so I took it for a spin in the sun and a few of the other moms said no glitter, just glow.. which is precisely what I like to hear. It stayed on all day, looking all good and stuff 😉

Staying on the cheeks I have to love on the Physicians Formula City Glow Daily Defense Bronzers($14.95 SRP // Walmart) so hard. Searching high and low for these is absolutely an understatement. IDK what it is but us Pittsburgh girls must love us some NY and Paris.
New York is cooler than Paris (in tone) but because I’m neutral both work well for me because neither is too over the top. Right now I’m rocking New York but I think when I have a little more color mid-Summer Paris is going to be my go-to. Like the Argan Oil Blush and Bronzer the City Glow Bronzers have some gilded over-spray, but again neither made me feel like I should be a lady of the night.

For skin you’d think hearing Argan Oil would be terrifying to those of us with oil on their skin. Physicians Formula Argan Wear BB Cream ($14.95 SRP // Walmart) has made it so I no longer will ever fear trying these products.
I’m always nervous with a new type of BB Cream/CC Cream/Foundation.. anything in that facial arena. My skin is so weird and my insane breakouts have been happening again (thankfully going away now). When I break out (and I’m sure most of you can relate) my skin gets dry where the zits were and it looks all peely. A hack would be to put a dab of moisturizer on that before your foundation or powder. OR you could just use the Physicians Formula Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil BB Cream. I don’t know how it did it, but it managed to moisturize the dry areas but still give a matte finish and provide the perfect base for a powder. I’m still confused. But I guess that’s what love is 😉 BONUS. It has SPF 30!
In addition there are also two straight up Argan Oil products I tried. One is the Physicians Formula Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil($14.95 SRP // Walmart), which is not what I consider to be your run-of-the-mill Argan Oil because it makes my skin bod look all radiant and glowy without the greasy feel. If you need more glow there is also an Illuminating Argan Oil ($14.95 SRP // Walmart), that I find particularly fancy for Summer.
