The theme for the March 2015 Beauty Box 5 is “Hustle”. Helping you to get ready to kick butt without the stress. It wants us to be the boss of our makeup bags – and I’m down with that. Mostly because mine owns me because it replicates lip glosses. I know you feel me.

This month I got….
From Laugh Out Loud by Nanacoco, Lip Gloss. The shade I got is in The Lift which is a vibrant and shimmery pink. I had to mention this first because I am just IN LOVE with it. The gloss is moisturizing with a lot of slip so it’s easy to apply (no stick!). It’s not a bold on the lips and the shimmer comes off as more luminescent. SO perfect – definitely going to be wearing this A LOT!
From Scandalous by Nanacoco, Thickening Mascara. The shade I got is in Dark Brown, which I’d never pick up if I were shopping in a store. I go for the more dramatic blackest black. However, if you need a good daily mascara that looks a little more natural this shade is nice. I didn’t really find that it thickened but it gave a nice curl.
From Styli-Style, Line & Seal Twist Mechanical Eye Liner. I got the shade Orchid which is a lovely mid-tone purple. I am in love with the shade and it applied effortlessly to the eye. However the pigment wasn’t consistent in all areas without quite a bit of layering. I would use this over-top of a darker shadow shade to hide that fact and luckily the retail price isn’t super expensive ($4.99).
From Eslor, Introductory Collection – Second Edition. This is a sample set of 4 pieces from the line – Soothing Refiner and Cleanser, Botanical Peeling Gel, Chlorophyll Lifting Mask and Firming Collagen Day Cream. Paraben free and sounds good to me! I haven’t used this yet but have it set aside for a pampering night because it sounds so luxurious. I’m not a big fan of getting small skincare samples, but because this is a set I can make it work for a “me” night.
From Elite Therapeutics, Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Cream. This lotion has an organic blend of oils and healing aloe vera. Normally I love the smell of Eucalyptus but I’m not digging how it mixes with the rosemary. I feel like I’d like this on my chicken but not so much on my skin. It does feel nice, though!
This months box was definitely worth the cost and I definitely have a new obsession in the Nanacoco lip gloss! Beauty Box 5 included a $5 off $10 purchase code to use in their shop, which is a nice little bonus!!
