LORAC has some amazing items coming up for Fall! Items you are not going to want to miss out on, including the Pro Palette 2 and Pro Matte Lip Colors!
First up is the LORAC Pro Palette 2 ($42.00). Yes, 2! In April I finally showed you the first Pro Palette and now it has a little sister. The Pro Palette 2 is still useable daily for both day and night looks but isn’t as neutral as the first. There are definitely some neutral shades, but those tired of the browns and beige will be happy to see some majorly hot matte shades such as a navy and a plum. The shimmers also stand out, of course, and all of the shades have fantastic pigment. I was pleased that there wasn’t a dud in the bunch. Even the mattes blended well and they can be placed on top of the lighter shimmer shadows to transform into glowing shades themselves.
- Buff – a matte french vanilla
- Light Brown – a matte tan
- Cool Gray – a matte taupe
- Nectar – a matte bronzed peach
- Plum – a matte plummy purple
- Navy – a matte bright navy blue
- Charcoal– a matte steel gray
- Black – a matte black
- Snow – a shimmering icy white
- Beige – a shimmering peachy beige
- Rose – a shimmering rose gold
- Mocha – a shimmering bronze
- Chrome – a shimmering taupe
- Silver – a shimmering silver
- Jade – a shimmering khaki
- Cocoa – a shimmering chocolate brown
In addition to the 16 eye shadow shades you’ll also receive a mini Behind the Scenes Eye Primer. The shades are all swatched below dry, without a primer. I know! That’s how nicely pigmented they are! These shadows are infused with soothing botanicals and are able to be used wet or dry.
Below I photographed the shades with and without flash so you can see the dimension & also the truest hues to the eye shadows.
In the look below, from the LORAC Pro Palette 2, I’m wearing Mocha (lid), Plum (crease/outer V), Rose (above the crease/inner corners & under the outer third of the lower lash line) and Beige (highlight). I also used the LORAC Pro Matte Lip Color in Magenta and the LORAC Pro Brow Pencil in Light Brown. Using the included primer I had no issues with creasing or fading. This palette is available now at Ulta!
Next is the Pro Matte Lip Color ($16.00). These are available in 12 shades and I have 3 to share with you today in Peach, Magenta and Merlot. I am in major love with these. They’re creamy but don’t feel like they’re drying your lips out. I ate a bagel, drank my coffee and didn’t need to reapply at all. After lunch I needed to touch up a bit towards the center, but if you don’t have time for that you can always add a clear gloss until you can grab a mirror. I’m 100% positive that I need every one of these. (Tip: be sure to exfoliate the lips before you apply!).
The last product I have to talk about is the Pro Brow Pencil ($19.00). This is available in six shades, but the two swatched below are Auburn (L) and Light Brown (R). I loved that these were easy to use and stayed on nicely. There is also a spooly on the other side, which I feel is necessary for any brow pencil. Keep in mind that you do twist these up and they cannot be twisted back down.
You can purchase the LORAC Pro Palette 2 now exclusively at Ulta! Will you pick it up? I seriously need more of these Matte Lip Colors!
