The Tarte Summer 2014 Collection is gorgeous. If you looked at the pic below before you started reading, then you got a nice preview. The packaging is fun, bright and seasonally appropriate. The product inside the packaging is even better. Golden Days & Sultry Nights brings to us juicy lips, shimmering eyes, peachy cheeks and even makeup wipes to remove it all.

Hint: If you missed last year’s Aqualillies palette, purchasing this year’s collection should make you feel better. It’s got the same blush and very similar eye shadows.

Previously I reviewed The Sculptor from this collection, which I am loving to pieces, but today I have a few more items for you that just had to come home with me from my last trip to Sephora.

Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes ($12.00 for 30 wipes). I needed these because a ton of bloggers were reviewing them and saying how amazing they are. These wipes are super gentle but still effective at removing all of my eye makeup, without making my contacts go foggy or making my eyes sting.

LipSurgenceā„¢ Lip Gloss ($19.00 each). I picked up the shades Tipsy (sheer coral), Park Ave. Princess(shimmering golden nude) and True Love(watermelon). The shades from this line are all gorgeous, and it was really hard to choose. I went for Tipsy because there was no shimmer involved and it is an easy shade to pop quickly on the lips. Park Ave. Princess was a must because of the name (don’t judge me). True Love was a no brainer. It looked gorgeous on everyone else and I went in there with the intent to take that one home with me. The formula is semi-sticky but feels okay. The glosses tout just enough pigment without being over board. Summer lip perfection.

Golden Days & Sultry Nights Amazonian Clay Collector’s Shadow Palette ($36.00). This palette includes five eye shadow shades in Toes in the Sand (matte ivory), Espadrilles (matte taupe), Caipirnha Cocktails (gold), Oceanview (jade), Tropical Sunset (bronze).

The formula of the shadows is soft and the eye look below lasted all day over a primer. I swatched the shadows on my arm dry without a primer and was still impressed with the pigment that they gave off.

Captivating Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush ($26.00). Captivating is a warm peach shade with zero shimmer. Even though there isn’t any shimmer there is still a fresh, luminous look to this blush and it’s always a favorite when it pops up in palettes. As with all of the Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blushes this one also sticks around all day without fading.

Below I’m wearing the Golden Days & Sultry Nights Shadow Palette on my eyes, Captivating Blush on my cheeks and Tipsy LipSurgence Lip Gloss.
