Today I have more MAC x Proenza Schouler for you! Two Blush Ombres have released within this collection in Ocean City and Sunset Beach. Yes, they’re sold out. I didn’t post them with any urgency because by the time my order arrived they were already gone from every website. I actually placed several orders on different sites as soon as I’d see them pop up and a lot of those orders got cancelled because they ran out. In any case, they’re gorgeous and I just had to share!
For the first time, the cool cleverness of the Proenza Schouler woman is captured in a collection of confident colour, featuring specially designed, limited-edition packaging.Lipstick bullets, square compacts and Pro Longwear pencils gleam with a unique, luxurious, metallic finish. Four Nail Lacquers glide on in creamy, urban hues.Introducing NEW shades of Blush Ombre in Sunset Beach and Ocean City – face powders in cool pink and warm peach, fused into fuchsia and coral gradients.
The outer box has an oil slick ombre effect that is going to make fashion fans and MAC collectors go wild. The square blush compact for this collection matches the outer box in color and shape and the casing feels sturdy and metal.
Sunset Beach(pink coral ombre into tan) – I would call this more of a fuchsia into light pink. There has been some mixed reactions to this one… it’s stunning to look at but I’ve heard several people complain that it’s dry and hard to get pigment from. I personally did not have this problem with mine. This one was actually harder for me to get than Ocean City, so maybe I got a second run/different batch because it was later on, but I found it to be more pigmented than Ocean City and gorgeous. The formula isn’t perfect but it certainly isn’t awful.
Ocean City(vivid orange ombre into tan) – Gorgeous color for Spring/Summer this shade was a little softer than Sunset Beach but not as deep in hue. I found it to be blendable and buildable. One of my new faves!
Did you anything up from the MAC Proenza Schouler Collection?
