For the Spring 2014 Notes de Printemps CollectionChanel has released two shades of Le Blush Creme de Chanel in Intonation and today’s post of Chamade.
What Nordstrom says about Chanel Le Blush Creme de Chanel:
An innovative powder-cream formula offers an enticing new way to blush with sheer yet vibrant pigments for instant luminosity. The silky texture offers a long-wear satin finish—soft and comfortable for every skin type—and is simple to apply with fingertips or brush.
The packaging is your usual sleek black compact with the white Chanel symbol and housed in a small velvet pouch. As you open the compact up there is a full mirror on the top side.
Chamade is a very intimidating looking shade of poppy. Seriously… you look at it in the pan and you might feel a slight hit of anxiety. Clearly, it’s pigmented, but it sheers out like an absolute dream. Dab your stippling brush lightly in the color and blend onto the apples of the cheeks, adding more as needed. If you don’t have a stippling brush on hand you can always dab and sheer out with your finger tips, just tread lightly so you don’t go overboard on color and make sure you’re blending well.
This blush is one of my faves for spring. It almost looks like a stain but it’s so creamy and much easier to use. It dries as a powder and lasts a full day on me (around 8 hours or so).
In the photo below I have Chanel Chamade Le Blush Creme de Chanel on my cheeks and I also dusted Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder in Preface all over my face to set the look.
