For Holiday 2013, NARS has collaborated with Guy Bourdin for an entire limited edition collection. Three blushes are included in Exhibit A (which is part of the perm line), Coeur Battant and Day Dream (which is featured in this post).
Day Dream is a warm pink shade, quite similar to Orgasm but without the peachy gold. With Orgasm I always have to wear it with something because it doesn’t really work well on me on it’s own, but with Day Dream I can wear it alone. Day Dream is the answer for those of us that just can’t get Orgasm to look good on us.
This blush was soft and easy to blend. The shade is very natural one and is perfect for when you have a strong eye or lip color. It’s light, but the pigment is buildable.
The packaging is the same as the usual NARS Blushes, a black rubber square mirrored compact with white print.
In the look below I’m using Wishful Thinking Cinematic Eyeshadow on the eye (see full breakdown here), Day Dream Blush on the cheeks and Future Red Cinematic Lipstick on the lips (see full review here).
For more information on this collection, please see the Official Press Release.
NARS Blush retails for $29.00 and is available beginning October 15th at NARS boutiques and narscosmetics.com.
