NYX has always impressed me with the quality of their products and affordable price points Now it’s easy to create either the perfect Smokey or Natural eye look with slim and easy to grab Shadow Palettes ($7.00 each).
Today I’ll be showing the Natural Shadow Palette, which is full of ivory-beige-chocolate goodness.
What Ulta says about the NYX The Natural Shadow Palette:
DescriptionAmplify your stunning eyes with the Natural Shadow Palette! This palette includes 6 simple hues that will enhance your look instantly. Define and enrich your eyes with any of the harmonizing shades for an intense or natural look.
DirectionsSmooth primer over eyes. Start eye shadow brush and shade lids with all-over lid color. Then with a crease brush, use the darkest color to shade into creases. Blend well. With an eyeshadow brush use the lightest color to highlight brow bones.
The Natural Palette is very basic and very perfect for that no makeup/makeup look. You can go for a light and slightly pearl ivory or beige tone, or make it a little deeper with a light brown and a deep chocolate brown.
What is awesome about this palette, is that you can use a skin tone shade of primer and keep the shadows looking light and on the sheer side, or you can use a colored primer (even white!) and really get them to come alive.
The shades were decent, with only a bit of fall out from the deep chocolate shade. This is definitely a palette for a simple look, so if you’re going for drama or color you’ll want to pick something different… but that’s what the Smokey Palette is for 😉
For the EOTD below I applied a thin layer of primer. The light brown shade is all over the lid The crease and outer V are deepened with the dark chocolate brown. I used the far right ivory shade at the inner corners and to highlight the brow bone, and the peachy shade was used to blend out the crease. The liner used is the NYX Kohl Kajal Brown Liner and the mascara is MAC Plushlash.

This looks fantastic! How does it compare to the Naked palette? I’m afraid of palettes since I don’t really know how to create looks with them, so I especially thank you for showing that part!

Thank you!! <3 The Naked palette is a little more versatile because it has so many different shades and formulas to work with, but this palette from NYX is easier to work with in terms of which colors you want to pair up (since there aren't as many) and it's more compact for travel.
