When you see the Marc Jacobs Beauty line in person, it’s extremely hard to resist. You’ll leave with your fave pieces, and then get that uncontrollable urge to go back for me. For my first visit, I picked up two of the Highliner – Gel Crayons in Ro(Cocoa) and Intro(Vert). I felt that these eye liners would work the best with the palette that I had chosen, Starlet (to be reviewed).
What Sephora says about the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner – Gel Crayon:
What it is:
A gel crayon eyeliner with a waterproof, long-wearing, color-intense payoff.
What it does:
Make a bold statement with this extreme-wear, waterproof eyeliner. Like a gel pot eyeliner encased within a crayon, this breakthrough product is exclusive to Marc Jacobs Beauty. Super-malleable, this gel crayon glides on smoothly for a flawless, precise application, then sets in place for all-day wear. A built-in sharpener makes sure the crayon always has a perfect point for an instantly sharp look on the go. Intense color payoff available in richly pigmented shades, including Blacquer, the blackest, shiniest black.
These liners apply like silk and with impressive pigment. I was able to wear each all day long with no migration issues. I didn’t even have a lot of fading on the waterline area where I wore Intro(Vert), which really had me in awe.
The shiny, silver packaging features a twist up back-end to get your color and a small sharpener to keep it on point.
I am definitely picking up the rest on Monday when I head back to the mall.
