NARS has an artsy mini-collection that recently released inspired by the Pierre Hardy Summer 2013 Shoe Collection which includes six Nail Polish duos and the two blush palettes featured today in Boys Don’t Cry and Rotonde.
What Sephora says about the NARS Pierre Hardy Blush Palette:
What it is:
A collection of ultramodern blushes with the signature Pierre Hardy pattern.
What it does:
Inspired by his 2013 high-fashion shoe collection, Pierre Hardy infuses his color palette into nail polish pairs for NARS for an ultramodern coupling of conceptual color. Presented in the spirit of his signature shoebox packaging, high-voltage blushes go graphic with shimmering pressings of the avant-garde designer’s iconic prints.
Boys Don’t Cry – pink grapefruit
Both blushes are highly pigmented, especially Boys Don’t Cry. With Rotonde, all I needed to do to get the perfect amount of color was lightly tap my blush brush in the palette, dab on my face and blend. With Boys Don’t Cry you have to be even more careful… Dab in, blow off the excess and then dab and blend. The formula is blendable, smooth and wore throughout the day.
Clearly the golden geometric pattern is an over-spray and disappears after the first use, but the golden shimmer doesn’t make the shades look garish at all once it’s mixed on top (the blushes appear more matte than anything).
The compact is a little larger than you’d be used to with a NARS blush, but comes in the same type of packaging – rubber black with the white writing and a mirror inside.

The Pierre Hardy for NARS Blush retail for $41.00 each and are available beginning May 1 at narscosmetics.com as well as at Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Ave and Bloomingdales. All items in this collection are limited edition.
