For Summer 2013 MAC has released another round of Extra Dimension products, including three new Extra Dimension Skinfinish. But this year, they’ve got a twist. With this product you will be able to highlight and sculpt, all with the same pot of product.
For now, I just have one to share with you in Definitely Defined, but another is on the way, which I’m hoping will wear as more of a blush on me.
What the MAC website says about Extra Dimension Skinfinish:
A liquid-powder highlighter with prismatic reflections that sculpts, highlights and models the face. The cool, creamy near-fluid formula creates a luminous, well-defined finish. Wears 10 hours.

(MAC Definitely Defined Extra Dimension Skinfinish swatched separately, then blended)
Definitely Defined (silvery pink/soft rose with shimmer) is going to be the pale gals best blush friend. Or, if you’ve got a medium to dark skin tone, an excellent highlighter. Either way, you’ll get a beautiful glow without having too much of a shimmer issue.
The two shades blend well into each other and didn’t fade too much throughout the day, though this particular shade is a little light so it was hard to accurately gauge timing.
Below I loaded up the dark shade on the cheek (a lot) and then highlighted with the lighter shade. (My eye shadow breakdown can be seen here).
For more information on this collection, please see the Official Press Release.
MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish retails for $30.00 and is available at MAC counters (try Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales), MAC stores, as well as online at maccosmetics.com.
