The Le Métier de Beauté Mélange de Colour Fashion Eyeshadow Palette was released in the Spring of 2013. As any LMdB fan or admirer can attest to, the eye shadows are beyond amazing in terms of formula, texture, pigment… all around 100% A+++ type of category. To be able to score a palette from this brand with 18 eye shadows for only $95.00 is an absolute steal!
note: I’m aware this palette is either impossible or extremely difficult to get at this time, but I’m absolutely in love and had to share pics and swatches!
What Nordstrom says about Le Métier de Beauté Mélange de Colour Fashion Eyeshadow Palette:
Blending together for sultry drama or subtle elegance. As equally chic as it is coveted, Mélange de Colour (the blending of colors) features an edited collection of some of the most-beloved eyeshadow hues. Eighteen stunning shadows come together for countless lid looks.
“Perfectly pigmented, the hues can be blended, smoked and layered to breathtaking complexity, or worn simply, to show off the flat-out good looks,” says Director of Color, Mikey Castillo. Inspired by runway favorites, the captivating colors pay homage to the many designers’ shows for which Le Métier de Beauté’s artistry team created looks during Fashion Week. Now, the cult-favorite shades – off the runway – are yours to keep.
The Mélange de Colour Fashion Eyeshadow Palette brings some of the best Le Métier de Beauté shades together in one fashion ready palette. While these shadows are much smaller than the normal sized LMdB shadow, the quality wasn’t sacrificed in any way. Each shade still has the same high-quality pigment, feel and look in a sleek black and mirrored compact.
I also used this palette to create my Makeup Wars April Fool’s Day EOTD, and though the liner was not something I’d ever wear, I’m totally digging the way the shadows turned out! Below is another EOTD I wore on Easter using this palette (burgundy and pink shades).
The Le Métier de Beauté Mélange de Colour Fashion Eyeshadow Palette retails for $95.00 and was available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. It’s no longer on the websites, but if you sign up for the Le Métier de Beauté newsletter they send you alerts when LE products pop out of no where from the vault! You never know!
