Bobbi Brown has always been instrumental in the beauty industry for empowering women and girls, regardless of the month. Since March is International Woman’s Month, Bobbi Brown is taking it a step further and launching a new campaign, their first-ever global charitable initiative, The Pretty Powerful Campaign for Women and Girls.
The campaign will raise funds through the sale of a limited-edition Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge and via GlobalGiving.org. In the U.S., every cent of the proceeds from sales of the Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge will go to Dress for Success, which Bobbi has worked with for years. To learn more about the campaign, check out the video!
I can’t tell you how much I love the fact that every cent of the proceeds of this product go towards the cause. 100%! That is truly charitable. Let’s check out some swatches of the Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge!
What Nordstrom says about the Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks:
Introducing Bobbi’s best-selling, multitasking lip and cheek color in the special-edition Pretty Powerful Pink. A universally flattering shade, Pretty Powerful Pink comes in a sleek, flip-top compact with the campaign’s signature logo. The double-duty cream formula blends easily to give lips and cheeks a soft, stained finish.
As part of the Pretty Powerful Campaign, 100% of the $25 purchase price will be donated to Dress for Success Worldwide from 3/1/13 – 9/1/13. The new campaign empowers women and girls around the world with the confidence and resources to be their best.
Pretty Powerful Pink is a lovely, universal shade of pink that applies easily to the cheeks using a stippling brush and blending. I found the formula to be very pigmented, so my best advice for use is to dab in your stippling brush, dab the product on your face and blend. You can always add on more. I tend to add a little more than necessary with products such as this because a bit of the product will mold in to the face… which is a GOOD thing!
The formula was easy to work with and didn’t feel too sticky right after application.
Wear time was all day. I removed the rouge off of my cheeks in the evening when I removed my makeup. On the lips it lasted as a normal lip color would, a few hours sans eating and drinking.
