Sephora + Pantone Universe ELEMENTAL Color Grid Shadow Block Swatches, Review & EOTD – Emerald Capsule Collection

It’s safe to say that the 2013 Pantone color of the year, Emerald, is one of my faves.  I get butterflies when I think about a whole year of Emerald!

Once again Sephora + Pantone Universe have launched a huge collection entitled Emerald Capsule.  From this, I have one of the Color Grid Shadow Blocks in Elemental to share with you.

216001 002 003 004 020Elemental (Emerald Shimmer, Appleblossom and Camel) is a great trio of shades to take the Pantone color of the year and create a bold look (as shown below) or a more neutral look with a pop of color.

I was really impressed with the quality of the shades and thought they applied nicely, blended well and had the right amount of pigment.

I lovedddd creating the EOTD for this palette.  Rather than do the expected light shade on the lid, brown shade in the crease and green in the outer V, I went for bold and put the green all over the lid and through the crease, the brown just above the crease and the light shade was for the inner eyes and to highlight.  The eye liner is NARS Carpates Eyeliner Stylo on top and Make Up For Ever #4K Kohl Pencil & 23L Aqua Eyes on the bottom.  The mascara is CoverGirl Clump Crusher.

022For more information on this collection, please see the Official Press Release.

The Color Grid Shadow Block retails for $26.00 and will be available at Sephora beginning in March.  Go to the SEPHORA + PANTONE UNIVERSE page to get notifed as soon as the collection is available.

  8. Wow I love how these colors look in the palette together. I don’t wear a ton of light greens/blues so I probably wouldn’t get much use from it personally. But it is really gorgeous
