I blame Messy. I need another red lipstick like most people need an extra hole in the head, but when I saw Burberry Military Red No. 310 Lip Velvet Long-Wear Lipstick on Xiao over at Messy Wands it took me all of about 3 seconds to go to Nordstrom.com and order it.

Military Red is a true and saturated red (swatch photos taken outside in natural lighting). It’s not quite matte… but not quite satin either. It’s the most peculiar formula, but totally wearable. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s moisturizing, but it won’t dry out your lips.
This wears well for about 5-6 hours and will leave a slight staining on the lips. I’m really impressed and am definitely going to go for a wine shade for the cold weather months.

Wow, that is one expensive lipstick lol. It looks like you definitely need lip liner with this otherwise it’ll run! And it really reminds me of MAC’s Russian Red! Thanks for the review

Oh man… It’s definitely expensive… not the most tho lol which is actually more scary than anything else. Urban Decay makes a really good clear lip liner (I think it’s called Ozone) that would be perfect!
