It’s safe to say I have a severe addiction to the Revlon Lip Butters. Luckily, they’re affordable – especially when you combine the drugstore deals and coupons.
One that I didn’t own is 001 Pink Truffle. It’s so me, and so Fall that it makes me (wait for it) SO EXCITED to own it =)
Pink Truffle is a mid-tone rosy mauve. The pink in the product molds nicely into the natural pink pigment of the lip, forcing the perfect tone. I think unless you run majorly warm toned this shade will look great on you. For those with more pigmented lips this may just be your MLBB shade!
The formula on the Revlon Lip Butters is wonderful. Smooth and moisturizing, this is a lipstick that even all you high-end honeys will love (they actually remind me of the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine). The shades are perfectly pigmented and come in a variety of colors to suit anyone’s fancy.
The only thing I dislike is that the Lip Butters are pretty wide, so it’s hard to keep on the lips without some of it getting out of place. And my lips are basically in the middle, size wise. Not real thick, and not real thin. Other than that, I love everything about them.
I have most (if not all) of the Revlon Lip Butters swatched, so here are some quick links – Creamsicle & Tutti Frutti, Strawberry Shortcake & Candy Apple, and the mother of all Revlon swatch posts – every single item I received for the Allure Magazine Beauty Blogger of the Year Awards.
Revlon Lip Butters retail around $7-$8 each, give or take drugstore pricing, sales… etc.
