MAC Blush All Day, Stay By Me Pro Longwear Blush Swatches & Review – Office Hours

New in September 2012, MAC has brought us Office Hours. Aptly named, because for those long hours at the office you’re going to need these Pro Longwear products to get your face through the day.

As part of the collection, 8 Pro Longwear Power Blush shades were released in Rosy Outlook, Baby Don’t Go, Stay Pretty, Whole Lotta Love, Eternal Sunshine, Stubborn, and the two featured today, Blush All Day and Stay By Me.

What the MAC website has to say about Pro Longwear Blush:

A lightweight blush with extreme colour perfection and non-fading, eight-hour wear. Ultra fine, silky powder glides on and blends easily to provide a moist, flawless, natural finish or with layering, a brighter, more dramatic look.

6 g / .21 US oz

Blush All Day is described as a light dirty rose beige. This one is actually much more pigmented on the cheek than I anticipated based off of the arm swatch. I got WAY too much color on my face (my foundation shade for MAC is NW25) and had to use Stay By Me to blend it out.

Stay By Me is described as a light peach coral. This is such a pretty shade. Alone it really doesn’t show up on me, but it makes for a nice brightening shade for the apples of the cheeks as well as to tone down clown cheeks (like I had initially with Blush All Day!).

When worn together (as shown below) these blushes complement each other and make for a nice neutral cheek. I love the entire Pro Longwear line because the products don’t disappear or fade like some products from the core line. These blushes were a bit powdery, but I found them easy to work with.
