The Murad Man collection is the first line designed with male skin in mind. This easy to use regimen is perfect for anyone who wants to solve problems related to shaving regularly – such as redness, razor bumps, ingrown hairs, and irritation.
I did a little bloggie recruiting for this post. The products sounded wonderful, so I asked my DH if he was game. He was (he has to sleep next to me at night, so he wouldn’t say no haha), so here goes his tale of the Murad Man Regimen!
Starting off with the Cleansing Shave:
The Razor Burn Rescue works to fight (as it’s name states) razor burn, irritation, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs. It also works for reducing blemishes, soothing inflammation, and moisturizing skin. The Face Defense SPF15 gives off a shine-free moisture as well as blocks harmful rays from the sun.
In the case of the Razor Burn Resue, not only was there no razor burn after using this product, it helped with old razor burn marks in just one use! DH also liked that the Face Defense was so lightweight and he didn’t feel like a “girly-man” while using it.
Side note – after he used this he ran up to me all excited to show me how his face was free of anything red, bloody, or just all around nasty. He’s basically pretty excited.
The only problem DH said he had with the products was the scent. He said it was sort of an “off” smell. He said like bug spray, I think it’s more along the lines of the citronella candle. Regardless, it works and he hasn’t put it down since he got it, so apparently it’s not a deal breaker.
On to the best news, this line works for WOMEN too! Keeping in line with the marriage phrase that I like to utter to the hubster “Whats yours is mine and whats mine is mine” (LMAO) the Murad products featured in this post are great for stubborn leg, underarm, and bikini line hair on us ladies. Shave cream for all! Let them have cake! WOOT!
I now leave you with a “did you know?” moment from Murad:
“Using an exfoliating cleanser prior to shaving will remove dead skin, helping hair to stand up for a closer shave. To help avoid razor burn, do not press too hard when shaving or use a dull blade. In addition, newly shaved skin is more vulnerable to environmental damage, making it essential to use a moisturizer with SPF protection after shaving”.
Pick up this entire regimen (in a 90 day supply) at Murad.com for $75.00 or you can buy the products separately – The Cleansing Shave is $28, the Razor Burn Rescue is $35, and the Face Defense SPF15 is $33.
