Le Metier de Beaute has become known for their seriously lovely lip products. Their lipstick shades come in a wide range of colors, but for Spring 2012, the focus is on the pinks.
From the Colour Core Moisture Stain Lipstick line they have re-introduced five shades to celebrate Spring! I have three of them to share with you today – Fiji, Dubai, and Cannes. If you want to check out the other two, Miami and Paris, I have reviewed them previously on this post.
What the Neiman Marcus website has to say about Colour Core Moisture Stain Lipsticks:
A brand new concept in lip stains, this one goes on with a velvety texture, provides lasting moisture but creates that coveted “just-bitten” natural flush of a lip-stain.
- Vibrant color and sensational comfort.
- Jojoba, lanolin and shea butter keep lips soft and supple.
- Soft, creamy formula won’t fade, smudge or feather.
- Long-lasting silky finish.
Cannes is a frosted mauve shade. Le Metier de Beaute really knows how to make a frost, and while this shade isn’t “me” I do like the color of it, and think it would look phenomenal on someone with a darker skin tone.
Overall, all of the shades feel great and have the pigment you desire in a lipstick. Anyone who has been around here knows I love me some Le Metier de Beaute. The products are always top notch and there is something for everyone. This is definitely a luxury brand, but it doesn’t hurt to pick up at least one item and splurge once in awhile! Be warned, though, it’s addicting!
Le Metier de Beaute Colour Core Moisture Stain Lipsticks retail for $32.00 each and are available in-store and online at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Nordstrom.
