When I first laid eyes on the Dior Diorskin ‘Healthy Glow’ Enhancing Powder Bronzer in Sunset 04… I was like “that is a ridiculously large box for that compact”. I had NO idea it came with a mini kabuki brush! How did I not know that?! Even if it didn’t, I would still adore this product.
What the Nordstrom website has to say about Diorskin ‘Healthy Glow’ Enhancing Powder Bronzer:
Diorskin Healthy Glow Enhancing Powder is a multitoned bronzer delivered in a sleek, round, silver cannage compact accompanied by a mini kabuki brush. It creates a veil of radiant color on the face for a natural, healthy glow. Featuring new Mineral Prism technology, energizing water and a light transparent formula to create an energized, glowing complexion.
Available in two color harmonies.
Sunset is a compact sectioned off into four parts – two shades are a deep tan with peach letters, two shades are light brown with nude letters. It’s different from last Summer in which the Sunset Bronzer had a sheen to it, and was much more peachy. There is very little shimmer involved with this years bronzer, you can see it in the close up photo.
With Sunset, you’ll be able to achieve a nice, subtle glow. You can build this up to be as pigmented as you like, so apply with a light hand at first since it’s easier to make it darker than lighter. I like to wear this by using the upper right/bottom left quadrants to contour, and the upper left/bottom right quadrants on the cheeks.
My biggest and really ONLY gripe about this… is that when you pull the mini kabuki out of the velvet sleeve… it gets stuck, and bristles go flying. A lot of them. I am usually a BIG supporter of storing brushes like this in the sleeve, but in this case, pitch it. The brush itself is perfect for this bronzer and feels soft while still being firm.
I am going to be doing a FOTD with this when swatch and review Aurora 5-Couleur, so be on the look out for that!
Dior Diorskin ‘Healthy Glow’ Enhancing Powder Bronzer retails for $55.00 and can be purchased at your local Dior counter as well as at Dior.com and retailer websites.
