Too Faced BETTER THAN FALSE LASHES Lash Extension System with Flexistretch Nylon Fibers Swatches and Review – Summer 2012

New for Summer 2012 Too Faced is introducing their Better Than False Lashes Lash Extension System with Flexistretch Nylon Fibers (exclusive to Sephora until July 2012).  Still with me?

Such a long name is certainly fitting for a product that is to give you the effects of wearing falsies without the hassles of the cost, measuring and trimming for length, mess, and glue.  Sounds too good to be true?  It’s not.  This system WORKS.  But don’t take my word for it, check out the pics ;)

What the Sephora website has to say about Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System:

What it is:
A three-step lash extension system that includes an activating mascara base and top coat and Flexistretch™ nylon lash fibers.

What it does:
The look of false lashes has never been easier or more affordable with this do-it-yourself system that’s an alternative to messy false lashes and expensive lash extensions. The activating mascara base and top coat is designed specifically to melt and seal the Flexistretch nylon fibers into long, thick, dramatic lashes without the risk, mess, or commitment of other false lash alternatives. Unlike traditional fiber mascaras, Better Than False Lashes allows you to dial up the lengthening fibers so you easily get better, longer, thicker, more dramatic lashes instantly.

This set contains:
- 0.30 oz Activating Mascara Base & Top Coat
- 0.02 oz Flexistrech™ Nylon Lash Fibers

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan

What else you need to know:
This product is ophthalmologist tested and approved for use by those who wear contact lenses.

Research results:
This product creates a 98% increase in lash volume and 42% increase in lash length.

The Too Faced Lash Extension System lengthens the lashes like crazy and provides a nice curl.  The mascara was easy to apply and the fibers don’t go flying everywhere when you pull out the wand.  As you apply to the lashes nothing is falling in your eye, and you can see where they are so you can be sure to coat your lashes fully with the mascara to set.  Fibers are seriously a girls (or guys!) best friend!

My sad and tired eye ball before applying the Lash Extension System:

My eye ball after applying the Lash Extension System:

BAM!  Crazy, right?  Application of the system to get the look above is as follows: 1 coat mascara, 1 coat fibers, 1 coat mascara, 1 coat fibers, 1 coat mascara.  In a nut shell, 3 coats of the mascara, 2 coats of the fibers.  It’s a little less pumped up if you do less than that, but it still works out a nice lift.  For reference, I don’t ever curl my lashes, it never seems to make a difference on me, so the eye above is just the system, no other machinery involved!

This mascara is a total love, and absolutely being added to my list of holy grail products.

Better Than False Lashes Lash Extension System with Flexistretch Nylon Fibers retails for $35.00 and is exclusive to Sephora until July 2012, when it will arrive at Ulta and Toofaced.com
