MAC Fluidlines remain a cult love of makeup addicts worldwide and are consistently high quality and at the lower end of the pricing spectrum. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Shop MAC, Cook MAC brings us three brand new Fluidlines in Added Goodness, Midnight Snack, and Wholesome. I’m so excited to bring you two of the shades today, two of my new favorites, if you must know As I sit here, I’m actually regretting I didn’t pick up the third shade.
What the MAC website has to say about Cook MAC Fluidlines:
Fluidline’s gel formula is a simple way to create the gourmet line. Provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier finish. Applies with a brush in a dip-and-stroke action. Long-wearing. Limited edition.
3 g / 0.1 US oz
Added Goodness (blackened mauve) is more of a shimmery mauve taupe shade. This fluidline is the best one color wise that I’ve ever owned from MAC. I’m an admitted taupe hoarder and this will make a fine addition to my collection.
Midnight Snack (soft black) is a shimmery deep gray. The shimmer almost gives it a navy hue. Not your average color!
Overall, I am in love with both of these Fluidlines. Wear on them is phenomenal, as is the usual with this product. Fluidlines are creamy and are easy to use as an eye shadow base or to glide on with a liner brush. My personal favorite brush to use with fluidlines is the MAC 209, because you can do a thin or a thick line. I also waterline with these and have had no problem (I’m a contact lens wearer and my eyes are rather sensitive!). If you can only buy ONE, get Added Goodness. PLEASE. I’m begging you to not pass out on that one. I think I’m making it obvious I have an affinity for taupe.
I have a few of the quads here I’m going to do looks with, so the liners will be used with those and swatched on the eye then.
