Tarina Tarantino is a new brand for me. I’ve seen it reviewed on other blogs, and always thought that the products looked nice and they got great reviews… but it’s hard to jump into a new brand when you already feel loyal to your faves. During a recent Sephora purchase, I was able to score the mini Fleur de Lash Mascara in Black Opal as my 100 point VIB gift.
What the Sephora website has to say about Fleur de Lash Black Opal Mascara:
What it is:
A superior mascara formulation that thickens and lengthens lashes.
What it is does:
“Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been obsessed with butterfly lashes. During my years as a makeup artist, I learned the importance of the perfect brush in achieving feminine, maximum volume lashes. I stored all my secrets away to use when I created my own line, so every woman could get the look that the makeup artists use on the runway. Now, with Fleur de Lash, we’ve combined the best, long-lasting formula and a luscious, thick brush to give you traffic-stopping lashes. Fleur de Lash is like false lashes in a tube, for lashes so beautiful you want to bat them all day long.” XOXO, Tarina Tarantino, jewelry designer and makeup artist
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
Size: 0.47 oz
Fleur de Lash has a nice thick brush and did well for curling and lengthening. I didn’t get much thickness from this mascara, though, which is something I personally look for. After a full day of chasing kids and being a mom I had no mascara flakes or migration. This is a nice mascara when you’re going for some natural curl, but nothing va-va-voom. For the photo I used 2 coats of mascara.
Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash retails for $19.00 and is available at Sephora.
