Prepare to be slammed with Chanel today! Chanel Spring 2012Les Harmonies de Printemps de Chanel is a gorgeous and very season appropriate collection.
While searching online before I went on my shopping trip, I wasn’t so crazy about the lip products, but in person Chanel Bagatelle Levres Scintillantes Glossimer was so pigmented (for a Glossimer) I couldn’t seem to separate myself from it.
What Chanel.com has to say about Levres Scintillantes Glossimer:
Gorgeous shimmer and a high-shine glow is delivered effortlessly to lips with just one stroke of this best-selling lipgloss. A wide range of shades, from sheer and natural to sparkling and rich, look beautiful on their own, or over your favorite CHANEL lipstick. Equally beautiful: the conditioning formula’s comfort and long wear.
Bagatelle is a pretty medium pink with understated (non-gritty) golden shimmer. This shade would be pretty over a pink OR a peach lipstick, since the gold warms it up a bit, though I think a cooler toned person could wear this just the same. Chanel Glossimers seem to be becoming less and less sticky over time, which is nice because (for me) it makes them much more wearable. Back in the day I couldn’t stand the stick, but now there is little to none.
Normally Glossimers have very little pigment, but Bagatelle shows up quite well on the lips. The lip swatch above is only Bagatelle, I have nothing on underneath.
Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimers retail for $28.50. Bagatelle is limited edition for Spring 2012.
