Chanel MORNING ROSE 557 Nail Colour Swatches & Review

My lemming for Chanel Morning Rose, from the Summer 2011 collection, has run hot and cold. As stock of it started to dwindle at counters and online, I decided to bite the bullet. Better to get it than regret it

Chanel Morning Rose is a very pretty medium pink with fine gold (barely visible) shimmer. I used 3 coats for the above photo, but part of me wanted to go for a fourth. The color itself is beautiful, but I don’t think it’s worthy of the price tag. Chanel has definitely done better.

Chanel Nail Colour retails for $25 and is available at department stores such as Macy’s, or Nordstrom. Call your local Chanel counter for availability.

   I really like just using two coats of Morning Rose. I find it looks best with the bit of sheerness and subtle almost jelly finish showing rather than trying to reach opaqueness with more coats. Maybe see if you might like it better this way too? Sorry it was a disappointment Its always do upsetting to hmm and hah over something so long only to be disappointed
