Congratulations! Your SEPHORA beauty bank has hit 500 points! What does this mean? Well, you get to pick an awesome product for FREE. The products vary. Items are offered in limited quantities, so if you see something you like, you need to jump on that.
Sometimes the items are super lame, but (especially lately) more often than not you can score a gem. Like today’s post of the Too Faced Eye Love Eyeshadow Collection.
From the Sephora website:
You can choose to spend them (aka – your points) on a limited-edition product handpicked for Beauty Insiders only: Too Faced Eye Love Eyeshadow Collection. Limited quantities are available, so once this set is gone, it’s gone.
Stocked with handpicked shades from Too Faced’s bestselling palettes, this stylish set includes eight coordinating eye shadows and a deluxe-size eye primer.
– Natural Eye – Heaven (matte ivory) and Push-Up (light bronze)
– Smoky Eye – Silver Spoon (silver shimmer) and Smolder (charcoal black)
– Naked Eye – Satin Sheets (golden champagne) and Like A Virgin (matte taupe)
– Romantic Eye – Honeymoon (burnished gold) and Ever After (bronze shimmer)
– Mini Shadow Insurance
Select this 500-point Perk on the Beauty Insider Rewards page during checkout, and it will be added to your shopping basket.
I’m familiar with loving Too Faced bronzers, but I’ve never tried their eye shadows OR their infamous Shadow Insurance.
This palette is nice because any eye look you’re going for is right there and waiting. Eye Love is great for travel and is compact enough to fit in your purse. What is also neat, is that when you open the palette, the instructions for the “perfect eye” are in English, but there is also an insert with the directions in Spanish as well. I’ve never seen that before!
I loved the Shadow Insurance. Other than UDPP and NARS, no other primer has been a match for my semi-oily lids. TFSI kept my shadows on all day and applied easily.
Of the shadows, the metallic ones all applied like a dream. Well pigmented, blendable, and all around easy to use. The other 3 shades – Heaven, Like A Virgin, and Smolder – are also fabulous, but I am always going to like metallic or pearly shades the best. They’re just so much easier for me! Heaven works great as a highlight and applies thickly, but Smolder and Like A Virgin you do need to work with.

Normally Too Faced single shadows will run you $16 (though these shades are exclusive to random palettes), and Too Faced Shadow Insurance is $18 – you can try out all of their highest rated for FREE if you have the 500 points in your Beauty Bank. It’s a great deal!
