This look was done on Thursday, and I meant to post it on Friday =\ Life got in the way! At least we FINALLY got Owen’s birthday decorations and their Halloween costumes!
For this look I used:
~ L’Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
~ MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer NW25
~ MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation NW25
~ Lancome Dual Finish Powder Matte Bisque II
~ Dior DiorShow Brow Styler
~ MAC Brow Set – Clear
~ Dior Extase Mascara
~ MAC Grain (highlight), MAC Smut (crease), MAC Magic Dust (inner lid)
~ MAC Orpheus Eye Kohl
~ MAC Bite Of An Apple Blush
~ MAC Innocence, Beware Lipstick
~ MAC Strange Potion Lipglass
As I mentioned before I didn’t get any of the eye shadows from this whole launch. They were WAY too dupeable, and as much as I love that the characters are on the pot, even I couldn’t justify the purchase. Especially when the pricing was higher than normal. I picked colors that were similar to the shadows to make the look for my eyes.
Let’s just be honset, Bite Of An Apple blush scared the pee out of me. It’s SO bright in the pot. You have to be extremely light handed when using this blush. I basically tapped in the brush (168) and tapped it lightly on my cheeks, then blended. I did this twice to achieve the shade in the photo. I was pleasently surprised. I had heard BOAA was similar to Marine Life (which got no love from this girl) but I don’t think it is. BOAA works extremely well, where ML looked clownish.
Innocence Beware Lipstick… on it’s own is pretty palish and …. ghastly really. Doesn’t do a thing. With a lipglass on top it evens out the color and makes it a gorgeous base.
Strange Potion Lipglass, if you know me, is obviously right up my alley. I used it here over Innocence Beware lipstick and the effect sort of reminded me of the Dressmaker, Dressmaker lippie… GORGEOUS!
This collection sold out pretty quickly, but if you call around you still might be able to pick most of it up!
